Zip Trekking!

Last weekend the company I work for, Fresh Tracks, took all of us on a day out to Whistler to go Zip Trekking. It was such an amazing time!! I highly recommend this to everyone. The crew at the Trekking in Whistler makes you feel really safe are are highly knowledgable. Not only did we get to experience some adventure, we learned some valuable information about how to live a sustainable lifestyle. Here are some photos from the event!

View from Whistler Mountaineer, the train that takes you from N. Vancouver to Whistler. It was so beautiful!!

Officially going to Belize!

Lucas and I are officially going to Belize this fall!! We bought our tickets the other night and will be going away to the beautiful Caribbean country for 6 weeks, from September 23 to November 2, 2007. I cannot believe that it is actually happening. It has been in the making for months and months and now the non-refundable tickets are bought and we are set to go! We hope to do many things while there, travel around to all the regions, mountain biking, hiking through the rain forest, visiting historic ruins, scuba diving, relaxing on the beach, and whatever other adventures we can find.
And in case you didn't notice, to all of you who know me well, I am away for Halloween! Can you believe that! So no party on my end this year! I may not even get to dress up, how weird would that be? But, on the other hand I am spending one of my favourite holidays in a beautiful tropical country. I am not sure I can even begin to complain about this.
Needless to say we are so excited and already counting down the days until we go!! YAY!!

Canada Day Long Weekend

This past weekend was a long awaited long weekend for Canada's 140th Birthday. We celebrated in true Canadian fashion, with great people, great music, awesome food, and spectacular fireworks. Here are the pics of the event!

Happy Canada Day!

Fun with the Shutter!
On the long drive home from Cloverdale to Burnaby Jenn and I decided to entertain ourselves by taking really awesome photos with the shutter on as slow as it could be. They turned out really awesome!
