More Apartment Pics!

I love my Kitchen soo much! Lucas and I did so much work in here yesterday it was crazy! Lucas hung the spice rack, wine bottle and glasses racks, blinds, etc. and I lined every single cupboard and unpacked and made it all look pretty! It almost looks like we're entirely moved in!

Ikea Furniture and Indian Food

Well it's now official! We have our keys and the moving began last night with bringing in our new ikea furniture and enjoying some indian food from across the way. It was a really fun night even at the frustrating parts! Ikea furniture is a nightmare! We bought ourselves a wardrobe as Lucas and I needed more closet space and I've never in my life seen a more complicated piece of Ikea furniture! It was brutal! But with determination we got 85% done last night and will finish it off today. Again, these pics were taken with my phone, once we're in there I promise to take proper pictures with my nice camera :)

Keys!

Well, today is the day! Lucas and I get our keys to our new apartment! I can hardly believe that this is all finally happening. It's so exciting and so wonderful and sad as well. I've lived with my Mum for the last 23 years, just me and her. She's been the greatest 'roommate' a girl could ask for and I'm going to miss living with her! But it's time to move forward and I am so excited for the coming unknown! Be sure to check back often for new pics of the new place and stories of how things are coming together!

My Birthday Party (a little belated)

Well I must apologise for these pictures being just a little late. My Birthday was actually on the 1st (for those of you who didn't know or obviously forgot) and this party took place on the 4th. We headed to my favourite place to dance downtown, Mod Club at Honey Lounge. It was a really great time! Thanks to everyone who made it out!

My New Apartment

Lucas and I, after a long and stressful search, have found our new home! It's a great little apartment on top of a business on Fraser and 27th in Vancouver. It has great new floors and huge windows! The move-in date is May 1st, exactly one month past my birthday (Happy Birthday to me!) The pics aren't the best because I took them with my phone but expect more to come!
