Weekend in the 'Burbs

This past weekend I ventured out to Langley to chill with Mandi and see my Sister. But first, I said goodbye to my kitty who went to live with Mum. :(

Mandi and I headed out to Harrison for the day. It rained on us a couple of times and I couldn't resist an artsy shot of my sunglasses covered in rain.

Me and Brady! Mandi and I found Brady wandering along the highway. We were so scared for his safety that we decided to do soemthing about it. He was so happy and relieved to see us! We spent an awesome night with him before taking him to the SPCA. Hopefully he finds his family real soon!

Happy Father's Day!

This is my Dad, Jay. He's a pretty amazing guy. You'll see from his tie, he's into music. He taught me how to sing and act and has a stage presense I can only wish for. This photo was taken the other weekend at a restaurant in Abbotsford where he sings every Friday and Saturday night. Unfortunately, the lucky bum is in Montreal this Father's Day and seeing as I can't talk to him, and well, just because he's worth the space, I'm posting about him to say, Happy Father's Day.

Spoiled

Even though times are a little tight, I whole heartedly believe that we all deserve to be spoiled just a little bit. At least that's what my Mum tells me! :) Instead of heading to a spa, I decided I would set up my own in my living room. It was complete with manicure, pedicure, chocolate, wine, chick flick and my pepsi. A girl couldn't ask for a more relaxing night on her own!
