Placencia has been an absolute blast. The last two days we spent relaxing on the beach and jumping from happy hour to happy hour. The rum here is dangerously good and we've found our new favourite drink, Muddy Waters, which is Dark One Barrel Rum and Gingerale. It's awesome. The sea and sands have been so welcoming it's going to be hard to leave here. We leave today for the small Garifuna community of Hopkins. The adventure continues!!

There are many stray cats in Placencia. Lucas and I temporarily adopted this one and named him 7-up as he looks like Pepsi's long lost brother. : )
