Walking in a Winter Wonderland

I know my Ontario friends are going to roll their eyes at me when I say this but....it has been snowing like crazy all night and morning and has just let up now at 330 in the afternoon. It may have stopped earlier at lower elevations but up here on the hill it hasn't let up until now. I'm so glad that I made it up to school today, my school is so beautiful in the snow. Here is some proof.



The snow makes it feel like Christmas up here. I wonder if they have put the Christmas lights on the trees yet? Speaking of Christmas I'll be attending the SFU Vocal Jazz Christmas concert tonight. I'm really excited yet also sad because this will be the first year in 4 years I won't be singing with them. I'm sure it will be awesome and perhaps if I can get this picture thing sorted out I'll post some pics of it later. Pictures and Fog

I kind of figured out the whole URL thing for pictures. Now if you click on view profile there is a picture of me there. I just have to figure out how to display my picture on this page. Hopefully that will come next.

I would also like to talk about this fog that has been plaguing our city for the last week. Let me just tell you that if feel like you need to escape it I suggest hopping on a bus or in your car and coming up to SFU Burnaby campus. It is beautiful up here!! The sun is shining and you wouldn't even think that it would be any different anywhere else.

The picture I have here is not exactly what I see from up here but it's a good idea. Just imagine along with mountains, I see tall building and lights trying to fight their way through.

Classes

I registered for classes last week. I love this time of the semester because it means that the current semester is almost over. I don't know what made me think that taking four upper division political science credits would be a good idea. Needless to say I'm looking very forward to this semester being over. Anyway it looks like next semester I will be taking Spanish which I'm really excited about. Travelling S. America is something I really want to do and knowing some spanish will definately be beneficial. The other interesting class I'll be taking is Acting. I took acting in my first year and almost made it my major. Unfortunately fear held me back from that and I've been taking polisci ever since. I've decided that it is time to take acting again. I'm actually quite scared about it because I haven't acted in about 3 years now. I hope I still have what it takes.

A New Beginning

This is me trying this whole blog thing for the second time. The first one was political based and I've decided as I'm sure you did as well that that is rather boring. Not that I think politics is boring, I wouldn't have spent as much money on it as I have if I thought that. I just know that it is boring for all of my friends and family. ;) I can't promise that I won't ever rant but I'll try my best to refrain.

Until I figure out the whole photo thing on here this will be pretty much just entries, but hopefully I'll figure it out soon.
