In searching for something to get up to Saturday night a bunch of us decided to head downtown. Not feeling the club scene, I suggested checking out the Media Club on Cambie (one of my very favourite music venues for local artists). It turned out to be a great idea. There was a CD release party going on for an up and coming artist named Mark Petersen. His music was awesome. He has a very original sounding voice that really added to his different sound. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance and Lucas and I were so impressed that we both picked up his CD on the way out. I believe you can find him on itunes so if you get the chance check him out.
